Weekend Tip Sheet, 20th April 2019 | Football Betting Tips | Football Advisor

Weekend Tip Sheet

The following are our best football betting tips from the selected fixtures in the English Premier League, The Championship and across Europes Major leagues, and League Cups covering matches taking place between the 8th and 10th March 2019.

Premier League | Wolves vs Brighton

A nightmare four days for Brighton saw them lose 5-0 and 2-0, both at the AMEX, to Bournemouth and Cardiff, respectively. The latter result dragged them right back into the relegation battle, having looked fairly safe at the turn of the year. Hughton’s side have lost their last five matches on the trot and look low on confidence; Wolves are the antithesis of this after a stellar first season back in the Premier League. Wolves are in a mini-battle for seventh spot, with Nuno the least likely manager to take his foot off the gas at this stage. Brighton are abysmal away from home and aren’t scoring nearly enough goals at the moment.

Wolves to win @ 1.75

Premier League | Everton vs Man United

Man United’s loss to Barcelona in the Champions League surfaced concerns about their future under new boss Solskjaer. The honeymoon period is over, and with United in their worst run of form in 18 years, it’s incredible the difference a few months makes. The race for the top four is still on, however, a win at Goodison Park is crucial. United are unbeaten in this fixture since 2015, with six wins and two draws in their last eight. Everton have found a little bit of form late on this season as Silva gets to grip with his squad; a loss to Fulham last weekend can be swept under the carpet. The Toffees will be up for this test, with a share of the spoils likely.

Premier League | Arsenal vs Crystal Palace

Arsenal are coming to the boil at the right time. Along with Spurs, the Gunners sit in the driving spot for a Champions League place, however, with a few tough away assignments to come, a win against beach-bound-Palace is a must. Arsenal have won their last ten league matches at the Emirates, with just seven points dropped in North London all season; Palace have looked dangerous on the road, but aren’t fighting for enough during the Premier League run-in to cause Emery a headache. Arsenal at a canter, with a clean sheet to boot.

Arsenal to win and both teams not to score @ 2.87

Premier League | Chelsea vs Burnley FC

Chelsea at Stamford Bridge are a different animal to the one on the road. The Blues’ defeat to Liverpool compounded their issues in the hunt for Champions League football, with the Europa League quest the main priority for Sarri as they stumbled into the semi-finals. Burnley won here last season, but are unlikely to upset the applecart again. Three wins on the trot have secured their spot in the Premier League for another season, with Dyche arriving in West London with a “free-hit” approach. A professional display from Chelsea could see a drab affair, with a late goal stealing it.

Under 2.5 goals @ 2.37

Premier League | Cardiff City vs Liverpool

It’s looking more and more like Liverpool’s year as the season reaches it’s crescendo. An away trip to one of the relegation candidates isn’t ideal for Klopp, as he looks to pit his side against Warnock’s brave side; a win in Brighton on Tuesday has breathed new life into their survival chances. Rotation is out of the window now, with Liverpool needing to field their strongest eleven in their remaining fixtures – they continue to create bagfuls of chances, with four more goals in the week against Porto underlining their form. Salah is back, and should find the net on Sunday.

Mo Salah to score anytime @ 1.61

La Liga | Real Madrid vs Ath. Bilbao

Trailing their city rivals, Atleti, by four points coming into this weekend’s fixtures, Zidane knows that three points is a minimum requirement if Los Blancos are to squeeze any pride out of this rocky season. Bilbao have their own motivations in a race for the top four; Sevilla look the most likely, but a win at the Bernabeu would put the visitors right in the mix with just six games remaining. The last three meetings have finished in draws.

Both teams to score @ 1.61

Serie A | Parma vs Milan

A narrow win against Lazio has allowed Milan to breathe again, having been chased down by a handful of sides for their fourth spot and Champions League football. Five points separate fourth to eighth, with pressure on Gattuso to record a victory at the Stadio Ennio Tardini. Parma have won once in their previous twelve matches, and with only six points separating themselves from the relegation spots, it will be nervy viewing in their last six fixtures. Parma have won more on the road than at home this season; Milan should be able to negate this challenge.

Milan-Milan HT-FT @ 2.62

Serie A | Inter Milan vs Roma

A win for Roma inside the San Siro could really tighten up the race at the summit of Serie A. Under Juventus and Napoli, the other European spots are up for grabs, with 18 more points to be contested for by each club. Roma’s back-to-back 1-0 wins have given them a chance of redemption after a sloppy season; Inter have a six point cushion on Ranieri’s side, but all could change after 90 minutes on Saturday. Inter haven’t scored in their last three home games, with a punt on Roma showing huge value.

Roma to win @ 4.50
