Weekend Tip Sheet

The following are our best football betting tips from the selected fixtures in the English Premier League, The Championship and across Europes Major leagues, and League Cups covering matches taking place between the 8th and 10th March 2019.

Premier League | Burnley vs Arsenal

All but out of the race for a top-four finish, Arsenal will struggle for motivation at Turf Moor to close out this topsy-turvy season; Burnley isn’t a team to show much sympathy on home soil. Dyche’s side has been one of the top performers in 2019, and with Arsenal taking one point from their last four league games, Burnley’s chances show value. With a shot at Champions League contention next year all resting on their Europa League final, this fixture will peter out in a non-contest.

Burnley or draw @ 1.75

Premier League | Brighton vs Man. City

It was a case of Vincent Kompany to the rescue on Monday as City left it late to get all three points against a gallant Leicester side. Winning every match since Boxing Day, Guardiola has instilled an indestructible belief within the Champions, one that will see them over the line against the Seagulls. A win is needed on the South Coast, and with Brighton’s safety assured, Hughton’s side will struggle for motivation against this relentless City attack. An early goal will kill any nerves, with City cantering to a comfortable victory.

Brighton 0-3 Man City @ 8.50

Premier League | Fulham vs Newcastle

Fulham has won three of their last four matches in a last gasp showing of defiance. Craven Cottage will fear a spell outside of the top flight following this season’s relegation, but the Cottagers have shown the form to finish the campaign on a high. Newcastle has won just three times on the road this season, all by just the one-goal margin. Fulham and Mitrovic should sign off in style; back the Serbian to net as he says goodbye to West London.

Fulham to win @ 2.62

Premier League | Man Utd vs Cardiff City

Two points taken from their last twelve available has seen Man United’s shot at Champions League football next year go up in smoke. It’s the last chance for certain fringe players to avoid the inevitable cull this summer, with an array of under-performers feeling the heat. Cardiff is a proud side and will prioritize a gutsy performance at Old Trafford to round off the season. The Bluebirds will probably breach the United goal, with the hosts stumbling over the line, finishing the season with a whimpering win.

Both teams to score @ 1.70

Premier League | Tottenham vs Everton

A point will secure Spurs’ return to the Champions League next season. In reality, anything but a 5-0 loss will probably see them safe, but an assault on the third spot will be top of Pochettino’s list of priorities. Everton has had a fantastic second half to the season and won’t finish lower than ninth; Silva will be planning an assault on the top six next season having adapted to life as a Toffee this campaign. Tottenham looks to have run out of gas – despite their midweek heroics – with Everton peaking at the right time. The suspensions and injuries have proved crucial for Spurs’ stretched squad.

Under 2.5 goals @ 2.00

Everton or draw @ 1.90

Premier League | Leicester vs Chelsea

Top four is guaranteed for Chelsea, but don’t underestimate their desire to finish above their rivals Tottenham, and in third place. Inclusion will be expected by the likes of Eden Hazard and Willian, with their trip to the King Power likely to be their last Premier League outing for the Blues. Leicester have looked dangerous under Rogers; Vardy has more than enough to trouble a Chelsea defence that has proved vulnerable to a pacey striker. Chelsea’s struggles on the road won’t have disappeared overnight – they’ll do well to get a victory.

Leicester or draw @ 1.66

Serie A | Fiorentina vs Milan

With Fiorentina’s season effectively over, Milan will see this away trip as an opportunity to keep their slim hopes of a top-four finish alive. The visitors sit three points off of Atalanta with a significantly worse goal difference; with three matches left Gattuso’s side need a maximum nine points to enter through the European back door. Milan’s away form is the biggest concern. Just one win in their last six matches on the road have seen their season run out of steam at the worst time. La Viola is arguably the best team to be visiting in this form, with the hosts without a win since February 17.

Milan to win @ 2.30

Serie A | Roma vs Juventus

Roma needs a win this weekend to keep their chances of Champions League football alive; luckily for them, The Old Lady has taken her eye off the ball since scooping the Scudetto. One win in their last six outings has put a slight dampener on their end of season celebrations, with Champions League elimination to Ajax still a sore subject. Roma is unbeaten in their last six, however, they boast the worst defence in the top eight. A home victory comes at a great price, with momentum proving pivotal in the capital.

Roma to win @ 2.40
