Weekend Tip Sheet

The following are our best football betting tips from the selected fixtures in the English Premier League, The Championship and across Europes Major leagues, and League Cups covering matches taking place between the 8th and 10th March 2019.

Bundesliga | Bayern vs Eintracht

It’s Bayern’s title to lose on this, the last day of the season, but with Frankfurt still fighting for a Champions League, it’s unlikely to be a walkover at the Allianz. Bayern have dropped just nine points at home all season, but with Dortmund two points behind, a draw will be good enough on Saturday afternoon. It’s looking like seven in a row for the Bavarians; with Leverkusen and Monchengladbach facing tricky final day assignments, a draw could well prove enough for both teams. Jovic is a top striker with the ability to harm the home defence.

Both teams to score @ 1.57

Bundesliga | Monchengladbach vs Dortmund

Dortmund are still knocking at the door on the final day of the season, however, Die Borussen know that they are relying on Bayern losing at home to Frankfurt in order to leapfrog the league leaders. The hosts currently occupy the fourth Champions League spot, but are under pressure to get a result with a chasing pack behind them. The fire may not be there for Dortmund having tailed off towards the end of the season.

Monchengladbach to win @ 3.00

Serie A | Sassuolo vs Roma

With two games remaining in Serie A, Roma know they realistically need six points to stand a chance of sneaking themselves a Champions League spot. It’s been a disappointing season for a side that promised so much last year; too many points have been dropped away from the Stadio Olimpico. Sassuolo have tailed off after a strong season in Serie A, however, just nine wins have stunted their growth in the league. Roma will benefit from the hosts lack of impetus, and should get all three points.

Roma to win @ 1.44

La Liga | Levante vs Atletico Madrid

Finishing second in La Liga with the esteemed title of “best team in Madrid”, Atleti will be using this weekend’s trip to Levante as a goodbye to Antoine Griezmann. The striker will be moving on at the end of this season, with a domino effect of strikers tumbling throughout Europe. Levante have survived relegation following back-to-back wins over the past two match days and will be looking to end the season on a high. In a dead-rubber, expect the goals to flow.

Over 2.5 goals @ 1.72

Serie A | Milan vs Frosinone

Milan may have left it too late to land back-to-back wins. Their April left them tumbling out of the European spots, with Atalanta leapfrogging them with ease. Two winnable fixtures remain for Gattuso’s side, and with Atalanta traveling to Turin to face the champions this weekend, there is a chance for the Rossoneri to draw level. Milan have tripped up on countless occasions this season, but the already-relegated Frosinone shouldn’t prove an un-jumpable hurdle.

Under 2.5 goals @ 2.75

La Liga | Real Madrid vs Real Betis

This dead-rubber for both sides is unlikely to gather much attention worldwide. Madrid are in serious need of a rebuild this summer after a poor season by their standards; Eden Hazard looks more and more likely to sign for Zidane this summer. Betis have been fairly decent on the road this season. Most notably their 4-3 win at the Camp Nou underlined their attacking threat, however, their season has petered out in 2019. In a chance to impress before the summer break, expect the goals to flow in Madrid.

Over 3.5 goals @ 1.80

Serie A | Juventus vs Atalanta

Atalanta are in a strong position to qualify for the Champions League next season, but to avoid last-day-drama, they’ll want to escape Turin with at least a point. Juve have taken their foot off the gas since scooping the Scudetto and without a win in their last three league games the hosts will smell blood. The visitors have scored the most Serie A goals this season and have been a joy to watch; a positive result at the home of the champions would cap off a fantastic, yet unexpected, season.

Atalanta double chance @ 1.60

Serie A | Napoli vs Inter Milan

A win for Inter would guarantee them a Champions League spot for next season, but with Napoli showing no signs of slowing down despite being guaranteed second for a majority of the season, it won’t just be a case of turning up for I Nerazzurri. Just two home defeats all season to Juventus and Atalanta have seen Ancelotti’s side consolidate their position as the second best team in Italy; Inter looked like a contender for that title until a drop in form at the turn of the year. A draw will nudge the visitors that little bit closer to Champions League football next season – a result that will suit both.

Napoli-Inter draw @ 3.40
