English Premier League – Betting Tips
Premier League Betting Tips – 14th – 17th September, 2018
The following are betting tips for selected fixtures in the English Premier League, covering matches taking place between the 14th September and the 17th September, 2018.
Chelsea vs Cardiff
Sarri’s side are likely to make short work of Cardiff at Stamford Bridge on Saturday; the Italian will also take pride in a clean sheet after moments of madness at the back so far this season. Cardiff don’t look like scoring many this season, and despite netting twice against Arsenal before the international break, the Bluebirds will struggle away from home. It’s a case of how many between these two sides, with Hazard likely to run havoc along the left flank.
Chelsea to win and both teams not to score @ 1.72 with Betway | Stake £10, return £17.20
Chelsea -2.5 asian handicap @ 2.53 with Smarkets | Stake £10, return £25.30
Newcastle vs Arsenal
Newcastle have gotten off to their expected sluggish start after a frustrating summer for Rafa. Arsenal are playing with increased freedom under the Emery regime, with Lacazette and Aubameyang proving they can play well in the same eleven. Newcastle broke the trend of three consecutive 1-0 Arsenal wins last season as they beat the Gunners 2-1 towards the end of the Wenger regime; typically, however, this is a good fixture for Arsenal. Defensive frailties, still, will burden both sides on Saturday.
Both teams to score @ 1.62 with Betway | Stake £10, return £16.20
Watford vs Manchester Utd
Watford are the third piece of the 100% club, joining Chelsea and Liverpool on twelve points. This cushion allows Gracia to come to Vicarage Road with a freedom on Saturday; looking to frustrate Jose’s Manchester United will be achievable with their robust midfield. Despite winning at Burnley, United are still a way off the pace and may struggle if they don’t go ahead early. I can’t envisage another Watford win, however, a point each, arguably, suits both at full-time.
Watford vs Man United draw @ 3.64 with Marathon | Stake £10, return £36.40
Under 2.5 goals @ 1.90 with Smarkets | Stake £10, return £19.00
Everton vs West Ham United
and red cards aplenty; West Ham have failed to gain a single point, despite playing some good football at times. Arnautovic will get chances at Goodison Park and should enable West Ham to get on the score sheet against a splintered Toffees defence. West Ham are due a win – 4.00 is a good price in a winnable fixture, but it will be hard work against Marco Silva’s side.
Both teams to score @ 1.65 with Betway | Stake £10, return £16.50
Southampton vs Burnley
Both sides will set out to win on this intriguing Monday night fixture. Southampton got the better of the Seagulls a fortnight ago in the League Cup, with the clash stressing how finely balanced this Premier League fixture may be. With Ings finding form up top for the home side, Brighton may struggle to keep a clean sheet on the south coast. The visitors don’t have the best away record either, despite gaining a point here last campaign.
Under 2.5 goals @ 1.62 with Betway | Stake £10, return £16.20
Draw at HT @ 2.00 with Betway | Stake £10, return £14.70
