Rayo Vallecano vs Barcelona (La Liga)
Fresh off the back of a 5-1 El Clasico victory, Barcelona are looking to assert their authority on a topsy-turvy La Liga. They lead Alaves at the summit by one point, after safely negating a tricky spell of dropped points. Vallecano are struggling. One win in their ten league fixtures see them rooted in nineteenth spot; conceding an averaging of two goals a game will be a concern prior to the reigning champions visit. Barcelona will be looking to make up for lost time, with the handicap market looking sensible.

Real Madrid vs Valladolid (La Liga)
Despite losing four of their last five La Liga fixtures, it’s still unthinkable to bet against them in a home fixture of this calibre. Valladolid are the form side in the league having claimed thirteen points from the first fifteen; a manager-less Madrid have a point to prove, but won’t find it a walk in the park. Madrid are struggling in front of goal, and considering their price for a win, backing a draw shows the most value.

Udinese vs Milan (Serie A)
Milan left it late midweek to dispatch of Genoa, with their exciting start of the season continuing with both teams scoring once again. Their loss to Inter is still the only fixture where both teams haven’t scored, with a trip to Udinese looking a prime candidate to carry on this run. The hosts have struggled to get going this season, but with Milan’s vulnerable defence they should get chances.

Inter vs Genoa (Serie A)
Inter look capable of running Juventus the closest this season. Icardi has already netted six times this season, looking capable of leading the line successfully in Milan. Genoa – playing in Milan for the second time in four days – are floating around mid-table. They were unfortunate to lose against the Rossoneri on Wednesday, however, concern will be building after failing to win in their last four. Inter should flex their muscles on Saturday, winning this one at a canter.

Lazio vs SPAL (Serie A)
The only two sides in Serie A yet to draw a match this season meet on Sunday, as Lazio look to bounce back from their mauling at the hands of Inter. 3-0 was the scoreline last weekend as Icardi steamrollered I Biancocelesti; prior to this, Lazio notched up impressive wins over Parma and Fiorentina. Lazio fixtures have tended to be low scoring fixtures this season, and if it wasn’t for Immobile’s six goals they would be in danger of slipping into mid-table obscurity. A 1-0 home win would follow the form this season.
