Weekend Tip Sheet
The following are our best football betting tips from the selected fixtures in the English Premier League, The Championship and across Europes Major leagues, covering matches taking place between the 8th February and 11th February 2019.
Premier League | Fulham vs Man United
Fulham are approaching dangerous territory. Soon, they will begin to be considered the same as Huddersfield: a side condemned to relegation with plenty of matches still to play. It wouldn’t be fair to claim they need to take something from United’s trip to the Cottage on Saturday, but a positive performance is crucial. Solskjaer is still unbeaten as United’s manager, and the Norwegian passed another acid test last weekend as he negated a tricky trip to the King Power. Their strong looks as deep as ever, with options all over the pitch. Fulham are conceding too many goals to trouble the pace of the visitors; whether they can score themselves past De Gea is the biggest question. United have kept clean sheets in three of their last four PL matches.

Premier League | Huddersfield vs Arsenal
Huddersfield are doomed. With eleven points and just two victories all season, the Terriers will already be planning for life in the Championship. The thing is, Arsenal have struggled on the road again under Emery, and may not cruise to a win as expected. The Gunners have slid back into sixth with injury problems mounting; a Bellerin void at right back will be targeted by the hosts. Arsenal have won the last four meetings by an aggregate of 9-1; this being said, there is value in Huddersfield penetrating this Arsenal defence. They are yet to keep an away clean sheet in the PL.

Premier League | Liverpool vs Bournemouth
Liverpool are in dire need of a simple victory. They’ve worked hard for their back-to-back 1-1 draws against Leicester and West Ham, with their creative flair missing in huge portions of each match. Bournemouth don’t tend to fair too well against the big six, barring Chelsea, and should feel the full force of the Liverpool attack at Anfield. A Saturday 3pm fixture is just what is needed at Anfield, with a reduction in pressure from the TV cameras. Bournemouth leak a lot of goals – this one could get ugly. Salah is only proving deadly from the penalty spot recently and is due a goal in open play.

Premier League | Watford vs Everton
Everton’s defeat to Man City in the week was expected, with little learnt from the two goals conceded to Laporte and Jesus at Goodison Park. Arguably, a bigger test of their character comes this weekend against a robust Watford outfit. Watford are continuing to over-perform under Javi Gracia; this being said, their home form is worrying. Two wins in their last nine at Vicarage Road have stunted their advances towards the periphery of the top six. This one will be cagey, with either side seeing a win as a huge result to kick on from. They could, of course, cancel each other out.

The Championship | Middlesbrough vs Leeds
Leeds have lost three of their last five Championship matches, and for a side chasing the league title Bielsa must be concerned in their dip in form. A trip to the Riverside wouldn’t be top of their list as they search for an easy win. Pulis’ side rarely concede cheap goals, with 22 being let in in 29 league matches (the best in the Championship by 7 goals). Boro are bustling their way into contention again having gone five unbeaten in the league; they only trail Leeds in second by 7 points, so will see a win this weekend as a huge step towards their dream of promotion. Leeds have won just one of the last five meetings.

The Championship | Nottm Forest vs Brentford
Life hasn’t gone according to plan for Forest since Karanka departed from the City Ground. Three defeats in four has seen them slip to twelfth in the league now five points off the playoffs spots which have been labelled as a “minimum” target. O’Neil and Keane will feel confident welcoming Brentford this weekend. The Bees may be experiencing a purple patch in form, but their away form is still problematic – just one win in sixteen matches away from Griffin Park was recorded last weekend at Rotherham; they still conceded twice.

The Championship | Norwich vs Ipswich
Norwich’s flagship victory came last weekend at Elland Road in a 3-0 dissection of the, then, league leaders. The Canaries now sit top of the pile on 57 points; the same amount of points as goals scored. If there was ever a fixture to settle a side down who have recently hit top spot in the league, you wouldn’t look much further than Ipswich at home. The Tractor Boys sit rooted to the bottom of the table having recorded just three wins all season; they’ve only taken five points on the road as well. Norwich should still be in cruise control, winning both halves at a canter.

Serie A | Fiorentina vs Napoli
Napoli are in a unique position in Serie A. Sitting in second, nine points off of Juve in first, but eleven clear of Inter in third; it wouldn’t be unreasonable to suggest that Gli Azzurri’s season is already finished as runners up. Stranger things have happened in football, however, than Ancelotti’s side creeping up or falling down, but their trip to Fiorentina this weekend should be a test regardless. The hosts have gone six unbeaten scoring fifteen in their last four outings; Napoli’s strong defence will be under scrutiny from the opening whistle with Marco Benassi their biggest weapon. The goals should flow in an open encounter.
