English Premier League – Betting Tips

Premier League Betting Tips – 28th September – 1st October, 2018

The following are betting tips for selected fixtures in the English Premier League, covering matches taking place between the 28th September and the 1st October, 2018.

West Ham vs Man United

Four points in their last two Premier League outings has seen the fog begin to clear for the Hammers; it doesn’t get any easier with the arrival of Man United at the London Stadium. Marko Arnautovic’s injury will be the biggest concern for the hosts again this weekend. If the Austrian is fit, Pellegrini’s side can punish a United side with a soft core. Talk of Pogba’s loyalty has dominated the headlines once again, with Jose, again, perhaps taking his eye off the ball. In all honesty, United have looked better away from home this season, with a narrow win in East London expected.

Under 2.5 goals @ 2.00 with Bet 365 | Stake £10, return £20.00

Arsenal vs Watford

Arsenal are ticking along nicely after winning their last four league matches. The true test of Watford will come over the next few weeks after their blistering start to the campaign. Arsenal still look fragile in midfield, and thanks to poor finishing from Everton last weekend, were lucky to escape with a 2-0 victory. Watford won’t produce the same speedy counters, but could out-muscle in midfield. It’ll be a big ask for Gracia to get a victory against Emery’s side; the BTTS market looks most appetising.

Newcastle vs Leicester

One of three sides without a win this season, Newcastle will see Leicester’s visit as a prime opportunity. They sit in the bottom three with Cardiff and Huddersfield, but unlike those sides, the Magpies are expected to compete this season. Goals are a concern. Just four scored for the home side in their six matches, as Leicester's athletic outfit look to punish at pace. Leicester are the Jekyll and Hyde of the Premier League this season: unpredictable with flashes of brilliance and awfulness.

Cardiff vs Burnley

Burnley are finally getting some joy after a sloppy start to the season. Last weekend’s 4-0 victory showed the players still have faith in Dyche’s system, with the Clarets now looking to kick on in their quest for a return to the top half. Cardiff look unlikely to score many goals this season, and with three losses on the spin conceding 12 goals, Warnock has his work cut out in the Welsh capital. Burnley’s revival is expected to continue on Sunday.

Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace

10 points in 12 games is a good return from Eddie Howe’s side at the start of the season. Palace still look overly reliant on Wilfried Zaha, and with only four goals scored are also too reliant on their defence to eek out draws. Bournemouth look free-flowing at home and should be able to breach Hodgson’s side who haven’t conceded in their last two Premier League fixtures.
