English Premier League – Betting Tips

Premier League Betting Tips – 4th and 5th December, 2018

The following are betting tips for selected fixtures in the English Premier League, covering matches taking place between the 4th and 5th December, 2018.

Burnley vs Liverpool

Divock Origi was the surprise hero in the most dramatic of climaxes to the Merseyside derby this weekend. The Belgian striker’s winner has galvanised an unbreakable feeling within Klopp’s side, one that will give them a needed push towards Christmas. Firmino, Salah and Mane aren’t as ruthless as they once were; this shouldn’t matter on Wednesday against a Burnley side who continue to ship goal after goal. Dyche can’t seem to get it right this season after a defensively sound 2017-18 season. Liverpool should find their groove again this midweek, with a win at a canter expected. Don’t expect Burnley to score. Van Dijk is leading by example for the Reds.

Both teams not to score @ 1.75 with Marathon Bet | Stake £10, return £17.50

Everton vs Newcastle

Everton were left heartbroken at the death it the Merseyside derby. This being said, Marco Silva’s side are showing the form of a side who are serious about breaking into the top six this season. They are still missing goals, and despite their creativity in midfield, the Toffees still need half a dozen chances in a fixture to get the victory. Newcastle – after winning three on the spin – fell 3-0 to West Ham at the weekend. It’ll be a common occurrence this season with Rafa unable to guarantee performances consistently. Everton should put their form to good use in this fixture. Goodison will be rocking, with Sigurdsson a good price to get on the scoresheet.

Sigurdsson to score @ 3.10 with Bet 365 | Stake £10, return £31.00

Fulham vs Leicester

The Ranieri-revolution has got off to a mixed start. A win against Southampton was followed by a loss at Stamford Bridge; this being said, the Italian will be pleased the amount of chances they created against Sarri’s side. Leicester are unbeaten in their last five Premier League matches without setting the world alight. They’ve drawn a lot of games they should have won. Fulham need a victory and Wednesday looks like a suitable night to get their survival bid underway.

Wolves vs Chelsea

Wolves, along with Burnley are the worst form teams in the league. Wolves’ loss to Cardiff on Friday night was a bitter blow to their hopes of pushing into the top half of the table; is it time for them to start looking over their shoulder? Chelsea bounced back to their loss against Spurs with a 4-0 Europa League win and a 2-0 win in the West London derby; a trip to the Molineux has resulted in a Chelsea win in four of their last five visits. Wolves will be up for this test under the lights, however, their lack of goals in the biggest concern

Tottenham vs Southampton

Tottenham’s defence took a real beating in the North London derby, with Lloris being beaten four times by a rampant Arsenal. If they were hosting any other side – than Southampton – at Wembley, they could be in trouble of a crisis of confidence. The truth is, the Saints look like conceding more than once in every game they play. Hughes has lost his job as a result, with a manager-less side unlikely to cause problems against Spurs.
